November is a very important and busy month for AIDS Service Organizations across Canada and around the world. The last week of the month will see a flurry of activity all designed to bring attention to the ongoing AIDS journey, including news, progress, history and facts about the disease. On December first we mark World AIDS Day in North Bay.  We will be holding a vigil – featuring the official proclamation of World AIDS Day in the Gateway City – our Red Scarf Project installation event will get underway in the downtown area and Day Without Art tributes showcasing shrouded art will be set up at local, participating tattoo studios and art galleries.

Our Red Scarf Project is working toward attaining 400 red scarves to “scarfbomb” downtown North Bay.  If you would like to donate your knitting skills, yarn or time to the event please contact Charlene Lalonde at 705-497-3560
